My husband John Clements was one of the many john clements living on roland street,he lived at 8 roland street and he had many good friends around the area.His uncle owned the corner shop and i was from barry and we used to go up there from corpus christi and went to his uncles corner shop with him.

Johns friends on the street were jerry davies across the road and many others.when he sent his application to go to war the letters all got mixed up when they had then back because they didn't  know which John Clements they wanted, there were so many!
