Just heard of the site from my sister Marina. We lived at 28 Tyndall Street between the McCarthy and Carbis families.

I did the paper round in Newtown with the Echo from about 1956 to 1959.
I went to Adamsdown Primary School and then Canton High School, when it was still in Canton. I went to University College, Buckland and then Pembroke College, Oxford and have been living and teaching in Germany, not far from Frankfurt/M, since 1972.
My father, George, worked as a bricklayer at GKN for years and my mother, Phyllis, worked at Sherman's Pools near the Hayes.

It's amazing how age drags you back to your roots, conjuring up pictures of times long gone but remembered with pleasant nostalgia. I would welcome joining the organisation or coming to one of
